BoBo Brinson has joined Saturn of Charleston as a sales representative. Previously, he owned BoBo's Deli and Grille and was an agent for Prudential Carolina Real Estate.

Building supply

Ron Sayer has been promoted to Southeast regional manager for Bath Fitter Inc. Previously, he opened and operated the company's North Charleston location. He is a graduate of the University of South Carolina and has worked in management and human resources in the Charleston area for 20 years.

Banking

Robyn Henderson has joined Tidelands Bank as head teller in the Summerville branch. Previously, she was teller supervisor for First Union National Bank and worked in customer relations for Wachovia Corp.

Scott D. Sylvester has been promoted to senior vice president/market executive at Atlantic Bank & Trust. Sylvester has been a commercial lender in Charleston since 1994 and has 19 years of banking experience. He holds a bachelor's degree from Michigan State University and a master's degree from Stetson University.

Construction

Jamie Cowart has been promoted to customer service supervisor for Ryland Homes. Previously, she was customer service administrator, assistant builder and warranty technician. Before joining the company, she worked in customer service for Bank of America and served in the Air Force Reserve. She holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from the College of Charleston.

Joey Runey has been promoted to project manager with The Cornerstone Co. of Charleston. He holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Francis Marion University.

Samuel E. Player has joined Charles Blanchard Construction Corp. as mechanical division estimator/project manager. He has more than 30 years of experience locally in mechanical detailing, design, engineering and estimating.

Engineering

Ken Canty and Yony Hernandez have joined WPC Inc. of Mount Pleasant, and Kathryn Presler has been promoted.

Canty is project manager for the construction services department. He has more than 10 years of management experience on projects such as the Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge and the demolition of the Cooper River bridges. He holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the University of Massachusetts.

Hernandez is corporate recruiting coordinator. She holds a bachelor's degree from Charleston Southern University.

Presler is laboratory manager. Previously, she was an engineer in training. She holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering and a master's degree in construction materials from Clemson University.

Manufacturing

Andy Reding has joined Trumpf Medical Systems Inc., a medical equipment maker and distributor with U.S. headquarters on Daniel Island, as managing director, North America. He holds an undergraduate degree from Marquette University and a master's degree in business administration from the University of South Carolina. He has 14 years of sales, sales management and senior-level marketing experience.

Law

Patrick L. Jennings has joined the workers compensation practice of Joye Law Firm LLC. He holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Clemson University and a J.D. degree from Florida Coastal School of Law.

Media

Kain Cameron has joined WSUY-FM as host of the 10 a.m.-3 p.m. midday slot on weekdays. Previously, she hosted the midday program on WXLY-FM. She also appears regularly in local theatrical productions.

Real Estate

John Wilder and Heidi Haile have joined the downtown Summerville office of AgentOwned Realty. Wilder has 30 years of experience as a broker/agent. Haile has five years of experience as an agent.

Christy Van Tol, John A. Jeffries, Bruce D. Mullen, Owen Welling, Debbie Cromer, Michelle A. Talley and Wendy Jones and have joined Prudential Carolina Real Estate.

Van Tol joins the Trolley Road office in Summerville. She holds a bachelor's degree in psychology and has worked with youth in the treatment and prevention fields.

Jeffries joins the Coleman Boulevard office in Mount Pleasant. He has more than 15 years of experience as a federal contracts negotiator and is a Marine Corps veteran.

Mullen and Welling join the Ashley River Road office in West Ashley. Mullen holds a degree in management from Charleston Southern University and previously worked in retail management for Doschers Food Stores.

Welling holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from The Citadel. Previously, he worked for the federal government for 32 years as a structural engineer, project manager and real estate specialist, most recently for the Naval Facilities Engineering Command.

Cromer joins the Broad Street office in downtown Charleston. Previously, she worked for Prudential Collins-Maury Inc. Realtors in Memphis.

Talley and Jones join the Main Street office in Summerville. Previously, Talley was general manager of Madra Rua Irish Pub. Jones previously was a travel agent for 16 years.

Training

Robert Bolus has joined Coastal Training Consultants as a trades instructor and certified home energy rater. Previously, he was an instructor in the construction trades program at Trident Technical College. He holds a master's degree in computer resources management from Webster University.
